Ingress Protection Test Equipment is used to determine the degree of protection provided by a product enclosure. The level of protection provided by an enclosure is represented by an "IP" code (i.e. IP43). The first digit indicates protection against ingress of solid foreign objects. Many of these tests require accessibility probes. The equipment for these tests is provided below. All equipment fully complies with IEC 60529 (IP Code standard) and all other international standards with similar tests.

For checking the protection against water, to prove the degree of protection IPX3 and IPX4. Positioning of the shield allows for both "Protection against Spraying Water" and "Protection against Splashing Water" tests. The spray tester is the low cost alternative to the Oscillating Spray test for IPX3 and IPX4. Complete test device includes nozzle head, moving shield, pressure gauge, handle, flow control and shut off valve, and any connecting hose. Spherical cap of the spray nozzle is nickel-plated brass, all other metallic parts of stainless or nickel-plated steel.

A complete integrated system! The system operates on 240V, 60Hz - - but other voltages and power requirements are available by special request. The system was designed by ED&D for the purpose of producing the required levels of pressure to perform the IP Code jet nozzle tests.
