Description

The ED&D GWT-SVR silver foil is required for “one-point verification of the temperature of the glow-wire,” as required in IEC 60695-2-10, 6.2.2, the standard which describes the glow wire test apparatus and common test procedure. The GWT-SVR silver foil complies with the standard’s description, “foil of silver with a purity of at least 99.8%, approximately 2 mm² and 0.006 mm thick.” A Certificate of Compliance is provided with this product for these specifications.

ED&D also offers the ATP-01 tissue paper specified for testing, as well as the replaceable element and thermocouple for ED&D glow wire testers.
