PLUG, SOCKET, AND CORD TESTING

Model F39:

Flexibility Test Swivel Machine (for continuous bending tests of cables or cord sets fitted with plugs). The model F39 allows the simultaneous testing of two samples in it's standard version. This not only allows for substantial time savings, but also allows for the testing current circuits to be simplified by looping through the cables.

Model F20:

Cord Anchorage Torque Device (for testing the resistance to torque of electrical appliances provided with non-detachable flexible cords)

Model F43:

Flexing Test Machine (for checking the mechanical durability of flexible cords and cables by bending them back and forth). Flexible cables and cords must be able to withstand the flexing and bending movement which occurs in normal usage. The stress in practical use is simulated by means of the test with e.g. 60,000 load cycles. Several Versions Available

Cord Anchorage Pull Machine for testing of cable assemblies with intermittent tensile load

Model F56:

Socket-Outlet test Machine to examine the breaking capacity and the durability in normal operation of plugs, sockets, outlets, inlet, couplers, and cable couplers. Test currents up to 16A.

Model F37:

Socket-outlet Torque Balance (for measuring and testing the torque strain exerted by applications with plug pins on socket-outlets)

Cheesecloth and Tissue Paper

Products are to be placed on tissue paper and are covered with cheesecloth as the indicator of a fire hazard during abnormal tests (i.e. component fault, motor locked rotor, fan failure, etc.)

Cheesecloth is untreated cloth running 14-15 yards²/lb. (26-28 m 2/Kg) and a trade count of 32 by 28 per most standards. Cheesecloth comes in 36 in. x 5 yd. lengths. Tissue paper is in package of ten sheets each measuring 20x25 in.
